Chrestyna Kmetj
A strategic and community-oriented leader with extensive experience in business, international relations, and multicultural affairs. Chrestyna Kmetj has managed entrepreneurial projects, coordinated international delegations, and implemented humanitarian initiatives, while advancing Ukraine’s economic and cultural interests abroad. Chrestyna brings to her work the perspective of a self-driven businesswoman with a wide skills base gained through years of experience in construction, media, marketing, and business development. This entrepreneurial background underpins her ability to foster partnerships locally and internationally, navigate complex projects, and support trade and investment growth. Chrestyna serves on the Board of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO), where she has led bilateral trade, cultural, and humanitarian programs, including advocacy at federal and state levels. As CEO of National Leadership for Plast Ukrainian Scouts in Australia, she has overseen governance reforms, coordinated international exchanges, and supported humanitarian initiatives during the ongoing war in Ukraine. Within the Australia Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (AUCC), Chrestyna has been a long-standing member and is currently Vice President, playing a central role in reviving programs that strengthen business networks and expand trade and investment opportunities between Australia and Ukraine. Her work continues to focus on building partnerships, promoting exports, and fostering collaboration across business, government, and community sectors. Chrestyna represents Australia for the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI).
