2025 Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce Congress
On 4 September 2025, the Australia Ukraine Chamber of Commerce participated in the 14th World Chambers Congress in Melbourne along with a delegation from the Ukraine Chamber of Commerce and Industry, led by UCCI President Gennadiy Chyzhykov. Utilising the platform of the WCC the international delegation supported by Pavlo Troian First Secretary of the Embassy of Ukraine in Australia (economics) together with Chrestyna Kmetj Vice President of the AUCC and Australian Representative for the UCCI, met with leaders of international Chambers of Congress and Trade. Panel discussions on strengthening trade, investment, and innovation links as well as reconstruction between Australia and Ukraine were moderated by Valeriia Zabashta, UCCI Head of Department of International Cooperation.
The AUCC works with the UCCI to facilitate dialogue on bilateral trade and related issues to promote and ensure processes and governance on questions on trade between Australia and Ukraine.

OzUke2015 (Nov, 2015)
The inaugural Australia-Ukraine bilateral relations forum “OzUke2015” – one of the most important events in the Australian-Ukrainian community in the last 25 years – was held on 25 & 26 November 2015 in Melbourne.
The Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) was initiated by the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations (AFUO) and is now a formally incorporated Association. OzUke2015 was jointly organised by these two structures. We are proud to have the support of the Governments of Australia and Ukraine. (Letter from the Ambassador of Australia in Ukraine attached.)

OzUke2015 promoted stronger ties between Australia and Ukraine in a new era of cooperation at the NGO and B2B levels. It brought together Australian and Ukrainian civic and business leaders across a range of industries: Energy, IT, Science and Education, Aerospace, Agriculture, Transport and Infrastructure.
OzeUke Goals:
- To facilitate exchange of ideas and grow relationships between Ukraine and Australia at the civil society / NGO and business levels
- To provide insights for Ukraine’s democratisation and economic liberalisation processes in the areas of governance, transparency and integrity, and multiculturalism
- To foster understanding of Australian approaches among the emerging generation of Ukraine’s civic leadership
- To promote opportunities in Ukraine among key Australian commercial operators, including through the participation of a business and stakeholder delegation from Ukraine to Melbourne
