The Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) can provide your business with both strategic and tactical counsel about market opportunities in Ukraine and Australia. This includes “lay of the land” briefings, cultural awareness, key stakeholder introductions, and market analysis.

INFORMATION PROVISION

AUCC will use a variety of platforms to update its members on key developments of business interest in both Ukraine and Australia. This time-critical information includes: policy, legislative and regulatory change; economic and financial initiatives; social and demographic trends; risk assessment, and; travel advisories.

NETWORKING & EVENTS

AUCC strongly believes that business starts with relationship and will foster bilateral contact between Ukrainian and Australian business operators. This includes holding conferences, staging issue and industry-specific roundtables, and commercial “match-making”.

INDUSTRY & ADVOCACY

The AUCC represents its members in government relations and advocacy through research papers and a range of events with Australian and Ukrainian Government dignitaries. Providing advocacy, insight and connections with Australian and Ukrainian Government enhances the capacity of the Chamber's members to deepen the engagement of Australian business with Ukraine.

WHO WE ARE

The Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce was established in 2015 and has as its goal the advancement of the broader Australia-Ukraine business relationship through the effective representation of its members.

We aim to achieve this through building connections between our members and broader stakeholders in Australia and Ukraine, delivery of effective advocacy programs and provision of information and insights through our business events and online platform.

Vision: To lead Australian business growth in Ukraine.

Mission: To promote Australian business and Chamber member interests in Ukraine through being an effective source of information, connections and representation.

Yuriy Onyshchuk is a Team Leader of City Research at Melbourne City Council. Yuriy brings 15 years of experience from the Local Government industry, having been involved in Market and Social Research for Strategic Planning. Yuriy is responsible for the Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce's operation in the state of Victoria.

Petro Matiaszek has a 20-year track record in Ukraine’s corporate and public affairs spheres, working with senior decision-makers, officials and investors. Petro represents the Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) in Kyiv.

Western Australia Representative (Perth)

Dmytro Legeyda is an Executive Manager with almost 20 years of experience gained in globally significant mining/metal and trading companies in Australia, Ukraine and Asia. Dmytro is responsible for identifying and analyzing potential economic, trade and investment opportunities, establishing and facilitating business contacts, as well as providing initial consulting and advisory support.

Kateryna Kharovska is an equities research analyst at Credit Suisse. Kateryna brings experience from the financial services industry, having previously worked in sales & trading as well as equities research in Australia, the UK and the US. Kateryna is responsible for market analysis of potential economic and trade opportunities.

Queensland Representative (Brisbane)

Anna Golovchenko is a Business Analyst at Brisbane City Council. Anna has international experience in Project Management and Business Analysis from different regions including Ukraine, Eastern Europe and Australia. Over the past 9 years, Anna has been consulting across multiple departments within the Federal and QLD Government as well as the private sector. Anna is responsible for the Australia-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce's operation in the state of Queensland.

Northern Territory Representative (Darwin)

Orest Zadvirnyy is a Paramedic at St John Ambulance in Darwin. Apart from medicine, he has vast experience and skills ranging from construction to entrepreneurship. Orest brings resilience, adaptability and strong interpersonal skills which have been developed and honed by exploring and adapting to diverse cultures and socioeconomic systems in different countries along his life. His biggest passion, however, is helping people and he has devoted much of his time to doing that - especially when it involves Ukraine.

Daniel Stefyn

Technology Advisor (Melbourne)

Daniel Stefyn is an IT specialist of some 15 years experience with skills ranging from technical to project management. Over this time he has worked closely to provide solutions in sectors including education, government and non-profit. He has also overseen some of the first iPad and 1:1 program rollouts in Australian schools. Daniel brings to the chamber a diversity of technical skillsets in his role as the technology advisor.

Olga Oleinikova is a public sociologist, civic activist and entrepreneur with over 7 years of experience in specialist quantitative and qualitative research across the private, government and non-profit sectors. Olga recently co-founded the first Ukrainian-Australian IT start-up, Persollo, an instant check-out e-commerce platform for online businesses, bloggers and digital magazines. Olga is responsible for facilitating partnerships across the NGO & Business sectors between Australia and Ukraine.

Stefan Romaniw is the Executive Director of Community Languages Australia, Chairman of the Australia Day Committee (VIC) & Multicultural Arts Victoria, Chair of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations, and Secretary General of the Ukrainian World Congress. Stefan is responsible for promoting and connecting the AUCC at the government & business levels in Ukraine and Australia as well as providing strategic advice.

Gennadiy Kravets is the owner and director of “Etalon Studio International Projects” which specializes in bilateral and multilateral projects and provides audio and visual products. Gennadiy has over 15 years of experience promoting international cooperation with official support from governmental institutions, influential statesmen and numerous representatives of the business community across 5 continents.

We are always looking to help businesses that would like to operate in Ukraine or Australia.

Our Membership Options

Non-members are welcome to contact AUCC representatives for general information. Those individuals/companies which decide to become members will be offered to join the AUCC for a reduced membership fee of $100 (limited time only). Members will be invited to networking events, provided with business meeting introductions, and given access to a membership directory. For those members requiring extra information or assistance, for an additional fee, the AUCC offers bespoke research services, custom business visit assistance, and may also become involved in deal facilitation.
